Mr. Nora
- "If you cannot handle a simple task, then the answer is clear: you shall not proceed further. Consequences will ensue if you do not own up to yourself!"
Characteristics - King Nora is also known as The Blood Raven. He is feared throughout the city of Lament. In his history, he used to go fishing and he taught many children how to use magic properly and safely. He quit in order to take on the duty of being the King of Lament. With his new role, he was forced to become more serious and it was more difficult for him to show love to his family because he was too busy with his job. If there are conservatives in the story, he would be that kind of person.
Appearance - Mr. Nora, in contrast with his family line, has dark wings. Although dark wings have no significance to 'evil' in The Obsidian Tale, it may signify power and drops fear on others. Furthermore, he has a large build with dark green hair and glaring eyes. He also has a large patterned quilt made by his wife, Loetta. It is said that he once smiled and laughed often before Rina left. Ever since she left, he was not able to crack a smile as much.

Story plot (contains spoilers) -
Mr. Nora first appears in the throne room of Lament. He tells Rina that she had failed her mission to protect Lydia and bring her to Lament immediately. He sends her daughter to the 'guest' room.
Throughout the afternoon, Mr. Nora focuses on sending troops to the gates of Lament for incoming enemies from the new Gammel government. While doing so, he accidentally crashes into Rina as the two of them get into a bigger argument. Rina proves to him that he is a terrible father, and that Rina can take care of the problem herself.
In the end of the Lament arc, Mr. Nora becomes disappointed in Rina. For this reason, he decides to exile her from the city of Lament, her own hometown.
As the group returns to Lament, they seek Mr. Nora's help. They don't directly approve of the group's plans, but deep down the Avians relied on the group the most in order to save Rhadessia.
At the end of the series, Mr. Nora is alive and well, along with supporting his newly appointed Princess, Rina.
