Clyde D'Alonzo - Character Page

Clyde D'Alonzo
- "It doesn't matter if the rose prickles through the thumb. As long as she is a woman capable of being loved, then let me be the thumb willing to endure such thorns."

Characteristics - Clyde is usually reserved and sarcastic. He respects Felix the most and is willing to turn himself in to the military if it means saving his best friend. That being said, in the village, he is treated as a nobleman out of all the teenagers of Saradeli. His main gag that appears each episode includes flirting with girls, especially Rina since she declines and does not reciprocate.

Appearance - Clyde's blond hair is tied in a pony tail. He has an ascot tied by his neck, surrounding his blue overalls that look as if he was an in-training soldier. He feels it fits best for a nobleman of the village. He also has a rapier not to hurt others, but to defend him and his friends from any danger that lies ahead on their journey.

Story plot (contains spoilers) -
Clyde first appears at the market, paying for an apple that Felix stole. He is introduced as the kind civilian within the village, and that more people need to learn from him.

He later arrives at Felix's hideout just to hang out with his best friend until Rina and Lydia appeared. Clyde starts being the ladies' man around Rina but she rejects him several times.

At Felix's household, he patches Lydia's leg up and claims that the Gammel soldiers could be from the north, or from the docks.

When the group reached the docks, Rina and Felix begin to argue. With the loud commotion, Clyde offers to take the hit and head directly into the enemy territory while the rest of the group sneaks away. After Felix escapes the battleship, Clyde tells Felix to continue running away, forced to stay behind with the Gammel army.

Way later in Ouli Brye, Clyde rejoins the main group. In his current position, he is held hostage and used as bait (from the Gammel army) to lure the Lennox army into a trap towards infiltration. Clyde agrees to do so, but he tells Felix and Rina that he plans to mess with the Gammel army's tactics by being disobedient when the infiltration occurs. He separates from the two teenagers again to fulfill his duties and save the Lennox army.

At the capital docks, Clyde resists from moving from his spot which confuses Felix. After the scenes, he follows the Gammel army.

After several episodes, Clyde finally makes a reappearance at the Bafuulian bridge, guarding against any further infiltrators. Felix and his friends meet him again, but Clyde refused to talk about his situation. Instead, he had a few guards take them into prison.

It was revealed later on that Clyde was asked (by Mr. Wolfram) to leave Bafuul for an 'expedition' just so that he and Felix wouldn't clash with each other.

Clyde appears in Vector, vowing to find Lament and use the seventh red shard to emit life energy to the entire world of Rhadessia. The group was unable to catch up to him because of Argus and Talbot's interference.

In Lament, Clyde is shown atop the castle with Lady Pria. He is most responsible for the weather climate but Faris reverts the clouds with the Stone of Concealment detonator.

After the events of Felix's return, Clyde joins the battle of Lament against the main group, notably Rina. He stabs her from behind, and makes an escape.

Upon reaching the final battle, Clyde and Felix have a stand-off as they clash swords with one another. In the end, Felix becomes successful in persuading Clyde to break from Magnus' will, and he joins the main group to defeat the final boss - Magnus.

After Magnus was defeated, Clyde decided to stay in the Village of Saradeli to support its growth.
