Spencer - Character Page

Spencer
- "U-Um... Please watch your steps. You don't wanna step on those poor little plants. They've tried so hard to gro- *trips*..."

Characteristics - Spencer tends to cry the most. Out of all his friends, he is mostly concerned with safety as he is afraid of almost every person that strikes as threatening. Like a bundle of pessimism, he is also shy with new people.

Appearance - Spencer is the shortest and youngest of his three friends: Jess, Forrest, and Sydney. Like Sydney, he also wears beige clothing that look like old, scrapped potato sacks. Additionally, he wears old glasses with one of the lenses smashed and broken. More information will be revealed later in the series.

Story plot (contains spoilers) -
Spencer is first seen with Sydney and Forrest in the alleyway. He is there to make sure that the group stays safe from danger - at least he recommends them, but he is too afraid to protect anybody.

Spencer also makes an appearance in Forrest's flashback at the Silver Forest. Jess gives him a blue cape along with the fortune quote of: "Blue marks the sailing sea. Deep down inside you, you know that fighting crime can be found through smooth, calm conversations, and that in order to win, you must call for a proper and mature treaty of some sort."

Towards the end of volume 2, Spencer is seen in the Bafuulian jail cell with Sydney and Jess.

Spencer gets picked on by Sydney many times, but Warren is the only person that Spencer could make fun of. Finally.

In the end, Spencer survives throughout the series and continues to support the growth of the Village of Saradeli, also assumed to join a newly created school within the village.
